Many existing homes have sound systems that have Niles ZR-6 equipment in them. This driver allows a dealer to integrate up to 18 zones of audio via 1 RS232 port on any Control4 system.

 Purpose of Driver:

Vantage, the lighting company has sold thousands of Qlink lighting solutions in the past. Up tell now, a Control4 dealers has not had a resource to integrate this lighting system. This required the customer to extensively upgrade their lighting system just so Control4 would control it. Well not anymore! This driver is a RS232 driver that provides full 2 way feedback of Lights, Enclosure Modules, Dimmers, Low-Voltage Relay stations and scene point modules. By integrating these devices into the existing Control4 software, a customer is given almost the same features that a typical control4 system can in the home without the need to update the Vantage. In addition, Cinegration worked with existing Vantage programmers and found a way for a dealer to program the Control4 system without the need to ‘know’ how Vantage ‘works’!

Control4 has long had a generic Vantage InFusion driver. This driver works fine for lights and keypads. However, it lacks full implementation of all InFusion systems like HVAC, Relay, Tasks etc… That’s where this driver comes in. In Addition to providing all the same features that the original driver has, this driver also incorporates the pieces that really ‘integrate’ InFusion and Control4 together.

Allows a dealer to have devices automatically shut off when not in use! Scenario: You turn on DirecTV in your theater, then you switch over to Bluray. The DirecTV stays on until the Theater turns off. Not anymore! Driver automatically scans your project and gives you one location to adjust turn off times from immediately, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 15 minutes.

Ever needed to know when the temperature of a particular room or area goes below or above a certain point? Trying to do this in Composer is complicated as the ‘event’ will fire every time the temperature changes. This could result in hundreds of emails coming from a single residence. That’s where Temp Tracker comes in.  This provides a simple installer friendly interface to select what thermostat or Card Access device you want to ‘track’ and provides a simple greater/less than selection to quickly create a powerful tool for your customers and installations. Lastly, because humans are so forgetful, the driver can be programmed to ‘remind’ or re-send the event after a period of time (this is also an installer option).

Cinegration is pleased to announce the latest driver to their collection.  The DSC IT100 Enhancer Driver.  Basically, this driver adds features lacking in the current Control4 driver without erasing or tampering with any current programming the installer has done.

Features:

• All features currently in the existing DSC driver will ‘pass-thru’ this driver so all prior communication will funcation as normal
• Adds User Level Event engagements in Control4 programming for notification (example: When user 1 disarms the
  security system, email the homeowner that the kids are home safe)
• Troubles, Panel Status and Exit/Away events for better and more custom Control4 programming
• Has been found to correct the ‘losing connection’ experienced from using the existing Control4 driver

This driver will control a xrt12 XM radio via RS232 and provide 2-way feedback to the Control4 system.  Also added direct channel input if the customer doesn’t have that channel in the ‘station’ category. 

Cinegration is pleased to announce the tekmar tN4 gateway RS232 driver.  This driver uses the tekmar tN4 gateway and provides an interface thru Control4′s thermostat proxy to tekmar. Bottom line, customers/dealers use Control4 as a normal thermostat and the driver re-encodes all the data to tekmar. Current Temperature, Heat/Cool Setpoints, and HVAC modes all function.
